How do I set up Everyday Round Up?

1. Set it up

ING Everyday Round Up requires an Orange Everyday account for rounding up your card purchases plus one of the following accounts to round up into: Savings Maximiser, Mortgage Simplifier or Orange Advantage. It’s up to you.

2. Switch it on

Round ups can be set at the nearest $1 or $5 which you can switch on in your ING App or Online Banking.

3. Save while you spend

For example, if you’ve selected to round up to the nearest $5, we’ll debit the card purchase amount of $3.50 to your Orange Everyday and transfer $1.50 from your Orange Everyday to your nominated Savings Maximiser account, eligible ING Home Loan or charity.

A round up will apply:

When you use your card to make a purchase. This includes transactions made using Visa payWave, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

When you use your card details on file to make an online purchase.

A round up will not be debited if doing so would reduce your Orange Everyday balance below $20.

Here’s how:

Login to your ING App
Select the Orange Everyday account you want to use
Tap MANAGE > Manage card from the list
Scroll and select Everyday Round Up from the list
Select the account where you’d like to round up to – your Savings Maximiser, eligible Home Loan or charity.
Choose if you want to Round up to the nearest $1 or $5 and tap SAVE.

Online Banking

Login to Online Banking using your client number (found on the back of your Orange Everyday card, a recent statement or in the ING App) and access code
From the navigation menu, select Manage accounts > Everyday Round Up
Select the Orange Everyday account you want to use and the account where you’d like to send Round up to – your Savings Maximiser, eligible Home Loan or charity.
Choose if you want to Round up to the nearest $1 or $5 and click Save.

Everyday Round Up applies to card purchases using your Orange Everyday bank account. You must opt in to Everyday Round Up and select the round up amount (nearest $1 or $5). When you spend with your Orange Everyday card, we’ll transfer the extra amount from your Orange Everyday to your eligible home loan (e.g. Mortgage Simplifier or Orange Advantage), Savings Maximiser account or to charity. A round up will not be debited if doing so would reduce your Orange Everyday balance below $20.

Through Everyday Round Up to Charity, you can nominate a charity that you would like to support. Round ups will be transferred first to an ING holding account, where it may be help for up to 65 days, after which they will be paid as a donation on your behalf to Intelligent Foundation ABN 48 156 978 613 (Intelligent Foundation), a registered charity. While Intelligent Foundation endeavours to pay your donation to the charity you have nominated to support, it has discretion to pay your donation to any charity in its network (which it may do if, for example, the charity you’ve nominated cannot be funded).
