2. Find a casual role over the holidays
   The Holiday season means most retail stores are all hands-on deck. You could jump on Seek and see who’s hiring. Or maybe taking on the role as a holiday photographer is more your thing.
   
3. Monetise your skills
   Are you an elf when it comes to gift wrapping, cooking or cleaning? It’s a massive trend to jump onto platforms like Airtasker, Upwork, or Fiverr that can connect you with people in need of your expertise.
   
4. Rent your place on Airbnb
   Fancy making money while you’re literally on holiday? Why not rent out your place while you’re gone? Whether it’s a single room or your entire house, you’ll be feeling more than a little smug. Plus, you wouldn’t want your house to get lonely, would you?
   
5. Sell what you no longer need
   Selling items that no longer serve you on platforms like Facebook Marketplace is a win-win for your space and your wallet.
