What’s my Client Number and Access Code?

These are your login details for online, phone and mobile banking with ING.

  • You’ll find the Client Number in the info we sent out after you signed up, on your statement or on the back of your Orange Everyday card (if you have one).
  • You may have selected your four-digit Access Code online when you applied for an ING account, if you don’t remember what your access code is you can reset it from the login screen on the online banking or from account locked, tap Reset access code.

What’s my mobile pin and how do I reset it?

The ING app requires you to set up a 5-digit PIN during registration, which is specific to each device. It is specifically 5 digits to avoid common numbers like postcode or date of birth.

It’s a small change that adds a layer of protection – helping to keep your banking safe.

You can update your mobile PIN by:

  1. Logging into your new ING app
  2. Tap More > Settings
  3. Select Change my app code and follow the on-screen instructions

Forgotten your 5-digit mobile PIN? You will need to uninstall and reinstall your mobile app and then complete the registration journey again to set up a new 5-digit mobile PIN.
