You’ll receive the variable Welcome rate on your first Savings Booster if you (and any other joint account holder) have never held a personal savings account with ING before. The Welcome rate applies for the first 4 months on balances up to $500,000.

To qualify for the variable Boost rate, your balance at the end of the month must be at least $100 higher (excluding any interest earned) compared to your balance at the end of the previous month.
Interest on your Boost rate is calculated daily and paid on the last day of each month the eligibility criteria is met.
Eligibility is assessed at the end of each month and, if met, interest on the Boost rate is paid that same month on balances up to $500,000.

Simply log in to your ING app or online banking to see what your balance was at the end of last month.
