Change account details
Checking or changing your details

- Login to your ING App
- Tap the navigation menu > My profile and select Contact details
- Tap EDIT DETAILS and follow the prompts to change details (to change your name or date of birth you’ll need to complete and return our Change of Personal Details Form)

- Login to Online Banking using your client number (found on the back of your Orange Everyday card, a recent statement or in the ING App) and access code
- From the navigation menu, click My profile > My contact details
- Click Edit and follow the prompts to change details (to change your name or date of birth you’ll need to complete and return our Change of Personal Details Form)
Changing your linked bank account
For Savings Maximiser, Savings Accelerator or Personal Term Deposit accounts:
- Login to Online Banking using your client number (found on the back of your Orange Everyday card, a recent statement or in the ING App) and access code
- From the navigation menu, click Manage accounts > Linked bank account
- Follow the prompts to make your changes
For Business Optimiser, Business Term Deposit and Home Loan accounts:
- Login to Online Banking using your client number (found on the back of your Orange Everyday card, a recent statement or in the ING Mobile App) and access code
- From the navigation menu, click My profile > Forms
- Print out the form relevant to the account you wish to change your linked bank account for
Changing your mobile phone number
If you need to update your mobile number call us on 133 464. If you are overseas, please call +61 2 9028 4077 (call costs apply). Alternatively, visit our Contact Us page to view our free call numbers available from selected countries.
How can I change a Direct Debit for my ING Everyday account?
Easy. And fast! Some organisations will let you to do this online, over the phone or by completing a form.

- Open the app and tap login
- Tap Forgot your access code?
- Enter your date of birth
- Enter your mother’s maiden name and tap NEXT
- Enter a new access code
- Confirm new access code
How you reset your access code using online banking depends on if you’ve registered to receive SMS security codes.

You can reset your access code by clicking Forgotten your access code at the bottom of the login screen and follow the steps.
- If you’ve registered for SMS security codes

Call us on 133 464 so we can reset your access code. If overseas, please use our free call numbers from selected countries or call +61 2 9028 4077 (charges apply).

If you’ve tried 3 times and been locked out, call us on 133 464 so we can reset it for you.
You can reset your access code using the ING App or Online Banking.

While we’ll never treat you like a number, your client number and account number are how we can give you fast yet secure access to your ING accounts.
Client number
Your unique client number is a simple way of identifying yourself with ING.
You can easily find your client number from the following:
- Your welcome letter you received when you joined
- The back of your Orange Everyday card
- The top of your ING account statements
- In the ING App:
Having your client number and access code handy when you call, helps us to answer your call quicker.
You also need your client number to access online and phone banking.
Account number
Your account number is the unique number allocated to each account you hold with us. To see your account numbers simply login to the ING App or Online Banking.
- Login to Online Banking using your client number (found on the back of your Orange Everyday card, a recent statement or in the ING App) and access code
- Go to My summary
